- "The drawing is fine but it has nothing special. It is probably the most boring drawing you have ever done." - He said mercilessly.

Boring or not, I have finally drawn something according to my name. I keep trying different techniques and materials. In this drawing I have only used coal and 0.5 red and blue lead. The paper is also different, a Fabriano one, and I like it much more than the Canson ones.

Luckily I'm not running out of ideas and I'm about to try something that I'm really longing for.

According to the Chinese calendar, yesterday we said goodbye to the year of the rat, the year of Covid, of lockdowns, of multidimensional crisis ... a year in which, according to some, hope, resurgence and creativity were predicted ... and they were not so wrong ...

The rat is the first of the animals of the Chinese zodiac wheel and that means that a lot of changes are coming, internal changes in each one of us, political or personal changes ... and without doubt this has been the case for all of us. Regardless of whether they have been positive or not, internal changes have emerged in all of us.

Furthermore, according to numerology, the number zero is also associated with beginning, starting from zero and therefore it carries changes and novelties. Zero is a number considered infinite and therefore is associated with an absolute void, a regenerative crisis and an unlimited number of options and views.

It seems that we were hopelessly destined to live a year out of the ordinary.

At the moment it does not seem that the year of the ox is going to be much better but I will talk about that in future posts ...

Cats are a religion themselves. Surrounded by mystery and so alien in this world, they are capable of transmitting humans a whole world of healing sensations. Whoever has a cat knows what I'm talking about. I have two although I would have a legion and the company of a cat is better than many, many, too many humans.

The cow Samantha (see corresponding post) had access to a large number of both public and private alien documents of high value and secrecy to date. This drawing is part of the collection of images considered "sacred", since it seems that aliens venerate cats in much the same way as Christians venerate virgins and saints.

But be aware, pretending to be something you are not is not the point. It is not about pretending to be someone different, but being yourself, without fear of what others will say. Fears and shames must not interfere; we have to be honest with ourselves and with the rest.

I think a part of that hidden part of ourselves comes to light as soon as we drink alcohol or take drugs. That disinhibition not only makes us feel good and relaxed, but it can even show a side of us that unknown for ourselves, which proves that we can be great strangers.

The great challenge is to achieve that uninhibited state without the help of any substance, something that over the years seems more unattainable.

In the end, those of us who live in large cities and especially young people who constantly brag about what they have and do on social networks are more likely to wear a mask similar to the one next door and that prevents us from being as incredible as we can be.
