I Believe in Miracles

This is Amancio, a common hippo who was born with a clear goal: to fly and become a Santa Claus helper ...

They say that for a wish to be fulfilled you must project it in your mind until you perfectly visualize the wish coming true. Only if you really believe it, is it fulfilled. I strongly believe in this theory and every day I continue to be surprised at how far we are able to go if we make good use of our abilities.
However, it is not only a matter of mind but also of attitude. It is no use wanting to fly if you then lock yourself in a basement ... obvious! and the main enemy that prevents us from having the necessary attitude is called FEAR.

There are millions of books about the power of the mind, which is not surprising but what shocks me is that many of them relate mind and attitude to the existence of a god. Apparently, the three form a triangle in which if one of them is missing nothing is possible. An example would be the famous bestseller Conversations with God, by Donald Walsch. When I read it I was an agnostic teenager and the title pulled me back a lot but I definitely recommend its reading. The author supports the idea that the mind is like a machine that grants wishes and proposes to behave as if we already have what we want in order to join the same level and thus ending up achieving it.

On the other hand, Marianne Williamson wrote her fantastic book A Return to Love, which was recommended by a good friend of mine and that I read as an adult and still agnostic. A Return to Love focuses more on how to achieve the attitude needed.

Even on a purely earthly level, leaving aside the intangible because the main desire is money and all that it entails, the power of the mind, linked to a correct attitude, remains unquestionable. In fact, the main difference between rich and poor is that the former are the creators of their lives as they make changes to achieve their goals; while the poor consider that they have no power over their life and cannot modify it because it is not in their power to do so.

“Something amazing happens when we surrender and just love. We melt into another world, a realm of power already within us. The world changes when we change. the world softens when we soften. The world loves us when we choose to love the world. ”
― Marianne Williamson
